Notable features include the separated central area with the NCC North Congress Center and the publicly accessible meadow around the Mitte Entrance, used as an event area during consumer shows like Consumenta. The dedicated underground station Messe lies beneath the main avenue and delivers trade visitors directly into the heart of the grounds. Nuremberg Airport and U-Bahn Direct Line

Nuremberg Airport sits in the north of the city and connects to the exhibition grounds via the U2 underground line without a transfer — one of the few cities worldwide with this direct airport-to-fair connection. Travel time is roughly twenty minutes. From the central station, the U1 underground brings visitors to the fair in twelve minutes. ICE long-distance connections reach Munich, Frankfurt, and Berlin in under three hours; Paris and Vienna are also directly served. Hotels concentrate in the old town around Kaiserburg castle, near the main station, and in immediate vicinity of the exhibition grounds. For personnel we mobilise from Nuremberg, Fürth, Erlangen, Bamberg, and even Regensburg.
