Messe Stuttgart is Germany's youngest major trade fair location (opened 2007) and offers approximately 120,000 m² of hall space in ten parallel halls plus the ICS International Congress Center Stuttgart. The most distinctive feature: the venue sits directly on the airport grounds — runways are visible from the Messepiazza. Architecturally remarkable is the hall construction with spectacular span over the A8 motorway, above which halls 1 through 3 were built. Stuttgart Airport is the only German exhibition venue with departure and arrival halls directly adjacent — a two-minute walk from the terminal exit to the Messe entrance. The S2/S3 S-Bahn links the grounds with Stuttgart Central Station in around thirty minutes, from where ICE connections serve Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich, and Paris.
